Our Services
As a private provider of psychotherapy, counselling, supervision, and training in Cornwall, we are able to offer a large variety of services that are not time-limited. As well as psychotherapy and counselling we also provide community groups where only a proportion of the focus is therapeutic, with education and self-support being of equal focus (we call these ‘life groups’).
We can also offer training that is tailored around individual needs, from communication skills or stress management for employers and organisations; to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certified workshops to other psychotherapists and counsellors. Supervision is offered to both counselling students, counsellors, therapists, and also to employers in a more coaching capacity.
We also aim to be a resource for anybody wanting more information about the different psychotherapeutic approaches/models, with up-to-date research findings, and links to further information across the web, through books and articles, and even TV documentaries and programmes. For counselling and psychotherapy students we also provide information on the process of becoming a psychotherapist or counsellor, by looking at training requirements, differences between training routes, and accreditation criteria for the various bodies (such as BACP, UKCP etc). We will link with other training organisations, not just from around St Austell and Cornwall, but also from training centres and institutions from the around the country.
We take good health and wellbeing seriously, we even offer relaxation and down-to-earth meditation groups as a way of learning to let go of our stress, anxiety and tension. These groups can be a way to complement an existing therapeutic relationship (counselling and psychotherapy), or for pure relaxation purposes to help your week seem that much more manageable.
All of our services can be found under the relevant heading at the top of the page. If you can’t find what you are looking for, then please get in contact with us, as we are able to set a new service up in response to requests.
