Group Psychotherapy
The fortnightly group runs on Tuesdays between 7pm and 9pm. It is a closed group of up to five members (our current reduced COVID-19 maximum capacity). If you would like to consider joining the group, you will need to book an initial individual consultation with Dena, to assess if a group setting might be therapeutically beneficial.
Group therapy is a highly effective way to embark on your therapeutic journey. Groups can replicate our original family groups, and therefore therapeutic issues arise naturally, as opposed to being talked about within individual therapy. Each group is different depending on the issues bought, and can range from individual work being done within the group (with or without group feedback), to whole group exercises, exploration of relevant issues, and dynamic ‘group process’ experiences.
Members agree to attend a minimum of 6 sessions, and an ongoing commitment of 3 sessions.
