Well we have gone beanbag and colour crazy! Nine beanbags on their way to Ongoing Support from www.jumbobeanbags.co.uk (three blue, three yellow, three pink – we didn’t like the black much!). Now these are not ordinary beanbags, they are HUGE and we are starting to doubt if they will all fit into the new training/group room LOL. I will be taking some video and pictures when they arrive just for fun – I expect the whole house will seem that little bit smaller!
I did a lot of research into which beanbags to get as there is a lot of choice out there, ranging from just over £40 right up to £250 for the same kind of beanbag. We settled on www.jumbobeanbags.co.uk mainly because they seem nice and friendly, their beanbags are really bright, they look very well made, and most importantly the covers are machine washable, a must for keeping our therapy space clean and fresh, the nice people at Jumbo gave us some discount too. We have gone for the floor cushion type, so that they can be used to carpet the whole space out, for seating and for meditation in extreme comfort. Our aim here with the beanbags and our colour changing lights is to create a space that is quite unique for doing both therapy and training, the bright colours are to encourage learning through keeping your brain alert, and to help with therapy/relaxation by using colour to enahance certain moods.
